Cedar Ridge Readies Annual Releases

The Cedar Ridge Distillery has released its Annual Double Barrel Bourbon and Double Barrel Rye.

The mashbill of the Double Barrel Bourbon is 74% corn, 14% rye and 12% malted barley. Master Distiller Murphy Quint and his team transfer the Cedar Ridge flagship expression into a second, new American oak barrel, resulting in a 105 proof spirit.

This limited-edition Double Barrel Rye starts with the distillery’s rye that is poured into a second, new American oak barrel. The mashbill is 85% rye, 12% corn and 3% malted barley. The Double Barrel Rye is 105 proof.

“This is one of the most anticipated releases we work on each year,” says Murphy Quint. “Both releases show off our Iowa whiskeys in a unique way and shine the spotlight on our finishing technique,” he added. Both the Double Barrel Bourbon and Double Barrel Rye were finished in second New American Oak Cask.

The Cedar Ridge Distillery’s Annual Release Double Barrel Bourbon and Limited Release Double Barrel Rye are available now for $59.99 each.
