Wyoming Whiskey recently announced the launch of its National Parks No. 4 and Old Faithful Straight Bourbon Whiskies.

The Wyoming Whiskey National Parks No. 4 Straight Bourbon Whiskey – Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone National Park bottle is the fourth collectible, limited-edition release in the brand’s annual National Park Series. A blend of more than 70 chosen barrels pulled from various areas of its warehouse, the whiskey is aged for a minimum of five years and is 98 proof.

The bourbon celebrates Yellowstone National Park, a place of natural wonder boasting half of the world’s known hydrothermal features including Mammoth Hot Springs. This ever-changing system of travertine terraces has been formed over thousands of years, and Wyoming Whiskey’s National Parks No. 4 release is a tribute to the park’s unique and evolving landscape.

Old Faithful is a limited-edition whiskey that also honors Yellowstone National Park, the iconic Old Faithful geyser and legendary photographer F. Jay Haynes with the latest installment in Wyoming Whiskey’s Wide-Open Spaces series. The whiskey is a blend of three specifically selected barrels, has been aged for 10 years and is 108 proof. It yielded 500 bottles.

As one of the most unique natural environments on earth, Yellowstone is home to the world’s most famous geyser, Old Faithful. Honoring the incredible natural wonder, the limited-edition Old Faithful bourbon features a label showcasing an image by F. Jay Haynes, who spent his life capturing the sights of Yellowstone to share with the world.

Wyoming Whiskey is proud to support Yellowstone Forever, the official nonprofit partner of Yellowstone National Park. In conjunction with the release of National Parks No. 4 and Old Faithful, Wyoming Whiskey has donated $150,000 to Yellowstone Forever in support of the foundation’s efforts to protect, preserve and enhance America’s first national park.

“National Parks No. 4 has been crafted from barrels specifically selected to continue the distinctive flavor profile of our National Parks Series, celebrating the adventurous spirit of these treasured wide-open spaces,” said Wyoming Whiskey Co-Founder David DeFazio. “Old Faithful is a truly special whiskey, made from a select few of our 10-year-old wheated bourbon barrels, making it the oldest wheated bourbon from our warehouses. I’m excited to share these new releases with our loyal Wyoming Whiskey fans and supporters of Yellowstone National Park.”

Wyoming Whiskey’s National Parks No. 4 is $79.99. Wyoming Whiskey’s Old Faithful is available in Wyoming, California and Colorado for  $499.99.

Wyoming Whiskey announces the release of National Parks No. 3 and The Grand bourbon whiskies, marking the third iteration of its National Parks collection.

This year’s release features 105 proof bourbon which is aged for a minimum of five years and is inspired by the winding Snake River in Grand Teton National Park. Also included in the release is The Grand collection, which is made up of three single barrel high-rye bourbons, each aged ten years and released at barrel strength. With the release of these two new bottles, Wyoming will be making a donation of $150,000 to Grand Teton National Park Foundation (GTNPF).

The park means a great deal to  Wyoming Whiskey Co-Founders Brad & Kate Mead and David DeFazio. The Meads used parts of Grand Teton National Park land for their annual cattle drive, a vital part of their ranching business based in Jackson, WY. DeFazio is also an avid outdoorsman and visits the park year-round.

“My attachment to Grand Teton National Park is deep and visceral, as I have enjoyed some of the finest days of my ranch life in the park,” said Wyoming Whiskey Co-Founder Kate Mead who is also a founding member of the GTNPF board of directors. “Supporting the Foundation is a simple way to show our appreciation for all that the park has meant to our family, and to Wyoming Whiskey.”

“It is an honor for Wyoming Whiskey to be able to give back to the park and help to protect this beautiful land in our own backyard— a place so close to our hearts,” added Wyoming Whiskey Co-Founder David DeFazio. “Grand Teton National Park Foundation is grateful for Wyoming Whiskey’s incredible support,” said Leslie Mattson, President of the Grand Teton National Park Foundation. “Their vision and commitment to national park conservation will help continue our work to steward, protect, and enhance all that is special in Grand Teton.”

Wyoming Whiskey National Parks No. 3 is the third annual release to honor the nation’s outdoor spaces. The label is inspired by the Grand Teton’s Snake River.

Wyoming’s The Grand Collection is made up of three different 10-year-old single barrels that Master Blender Nancy Fraley identified as some of the best whiskey she has come across at the brand’s rickhouses in remote Kirby, Wyoming. Originating from the November and December 2011 Rye Bourbon stock at the distillery, she discovered the barrels as she was working on the 10 Year Anniversary Edition blend in 2022.  As a result, The Grand collection consists of three distinct offerings with each label showcasing the peak of The Grand Teton during the Fall, Winter or Spring. Each bottle will be sold within a wooden display box which is inspired by the peaks of the Grand Teton Mountain Range.

Wyoming Whiskey has donated over $400,000 to protect our nation’s national parks through its National Parks series. Last year, Wyoming Whiskey released National Parks No. 2 in partnership with Yellowstone Forever, the official nonprofit partner of Yellowstone National Park. The collaboration celebrated Yellowstone National Park’s 150th anniversary and contributed over $150,000 to Yellowstone Forever. The Wyoming Whiskey National Parks No. 2 bottle was the second collectible limited-edition release in the ongoing series which debuted in April 2021, with the National Parks Limited Edition American Whiskey bottle. The inaugural release of Wyoming Whiskey’s National Parks series contributed over
$120,000 to the National Park Foundation in 2021.

Wyoming Whiskey’s National Parks No. 3 is available for $79.99. There are less than 400 bottles of Wyoming Whiskey’s The Grand Collection available in Wyoming, California, Colorado and New York for $499.99.

Celebrating a decade of whiskey, Wyoming Whiskey is marking the occasion with the release of its 10 Year Anniversary Edition Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

In honor of the anniversary, founding Master Distiller Steve Nally and Master Blender Nancy Fraley have barrel selected and batched a 10-year-old rye bourbon that reflects 20 of the rarest casks at the distillery that were filled in November and December of 2011. It is the oldest product ever released by Wyoming Whiskey.

“Over the last ten years, these barrels have quietly evolved into something extraordinary. ” said Wyoming Whiskey Co-Founder David DeFazio. “10 Year Anniversary Edition is in a class of its own. We are blown away by the quality and complexity of this product. It’s memorable.”

Ten years ago, DeFazio and Brad and Kate Mead launched their flagship Small Batch bourbon. Since then, every drop of Wyoming Whiskey carries with it the character of the region and has become the Whiskey of the West. Cattle ranchers and attorneys by trade, the trio packed their ambition and headed to Kentucky where they went knocking on the door of Bourbon Hall of Famer, Steve Nally. They already had the land, water and grains they needed to produce bourbon, they just needed the leadership and knowledge of a world-renowned distiller to put the pieces together. With little convincing, Nally became Wyoming Whiskey’s founding distiller.

“We are proud to honor our roots in this state with an exceptional 10-year-old whiskey created by the fusion of Wyoming water, Wyoming grains and Wyoming weather. We will always distill our whiskey the right way, not the easy way,” said Brad Mead, Co-Founder of Wyoming Whiskey.

Wyoming Whiskey 10 Year Anniversary Edition Rye Bourbon features a mash bill of 68% corn, 20% rye and 12% malted barley, and is 103.4 proof. It is available in-store in select US markets including California, Colorado, Georgia, Maine, New York and Wyoming for $199.99.

Wyoming Whiskey recently announced it has raised over $120,000 in partnership with the National Park Foundation. The brand, which is committed to preserving the natural beauty of America’s wide-open spaces that inspired the whiskey, hosted a virtual auction featuring four one-of-a-kind bottles in the Wide Open Spaces – By Air collection, with all proceeds directly benefiting the National Park Foundation.

The first in the brand’s annual production of this limited-edition collection–Wide Open Spaces – By Air– was inspired by the beauty and wonder of Wyoming’s national parks. The collection, curated by Creative Director Harrison Ford, included four artfully crafted bottles of Wyoming Whiskey only available at auction. Each bottle was accompanied by a hand-carved wooden case created by natural materials artist, Jamison Sellers. Original photography from Tuck Fauntleroy is featured on each of the four labels and was accompanied by a framed, large format print. One of the bespoke bottles, Barrel #5004, inspired by Yellowstone Lake, sold to a lucky winner for a generous $15,000. The auction also included several other items to bid on, such as vacation retreats and custom merchandise, all in support of the National Park Foundation.

“On behalf of all of us at Wyoming Whiskey, I thank everyone who participated in our virtual auction and am grateful to all who donated to such a great cause,” said David DeFazio, co-founder of Wyoming Whiskey. “The importance of protecting our national parks cannot be overstated.”

To continue the celebration and support of America’s parks, Wyoming Whiskey created a Wide Open Spaces virtual exhibit. The exhibit showcases the story and inspiration behind the four unique bottles featured in the auction, as well as background on Wyoming Whiskey’s commitment to preserving America’s wide-open spaces and partnership with the National Park Foundation.

In conjunction with the virtual auction, Wyoming Whiskey also launched a new National Parks Limited Edition Bourbon Whiskey available in limited markets and online. With each bottle sold, $5 will be donated to the National Park Foundation. Consumers interested in securing a bottle should look to online retailers Reserve Bar and Flaviar, and select retailers in NY, GA, CO and WY while supplies last for $49.99.

Wyoming Whiskey has announced a new collection inspired by the beauty of our national parks. The Wide-Open Spaces Collection is an annual, small-batch production of Wyoming Whiskey that supports parks across the country in partnership with the National Park Foundation (NPF).

The first in the collection–Wide Open Spaces – By Air– was inspired by the natural wonders of Wyoming and the beauty of Wyoming’s national parks. The collection includes four artfully crafted, one-of-a-kind bottles of Wyoming Whiskey (seen below) as well as a new National Parks Limited Edition American Whiskey (seen above).

To celebrate the unique and first collection, four custom bottles curated by Wyoming Whiskey and actor/environmentalist Harrison Ford will be available only through a live virtual auction next Tuesday (April 20). The auction will also feature several additional items to bid on from custom merchandise to vacation retreats in support and celebration of the inaugural installment of the collection. All proceeds from the auction will benefit NPF.

“The By Air Collection is our tribute to the natural beauty of the very place that inspired our American Whiskey,” said David DeFazio, co-founder of Wyoming Whiskey. “We are truly fortunate to live among parks that are national treasures. It is only right that we pay it forward in preserving these wide-open spaces through this annual initiative that supports the National Park Foundation.”

Each bottle of the limited-edition, custom By Air series is held within a decorative wooden vessel mirroring Wyoming’s topography, hand-carved by natural materials artist Jamison Sellers. Sellers is known for his efficient use of materials and minimal environmental impact of production.

The labels on each bottle are their own work of art, each featuring aerial images captured by celebrated Wyoming photographer Tuck Fauntleroy, known for his abstract and grandiose style of landscape photography. The series of images were curated by Ford, the creative director of the series.

“Wyoming Whiskey’s support inspires people to celebrate and give back to the treasured places that give us so much,” said Stefanie Mathew, senior vice president of corporate partnerships at the National Park Foundation. “The National Park Foundation is thrilled to be the beneficiary of the virtual auction and will use these funds to preserve and protect our national parks for current and future generations.”

Celebrating four special landscapes in Wyoming, each bottle is paired with a thoughtfully chosen American Whiskey.

Barrel #5434, Inspired by Black Sand Basin: Representing both the very best of Wyoming Whiskey’s Small Batch Bourbon caramel, orange, and vanilla aroma profile and the perfect Cask Strength barrel. Bottled at cask strength, it has smooth, sweet flavors of orange, vanilla, and caramel, while the palate exudes flavors of grilled white peaches and Chinese 5 spice powder. It is an exceptionally well-balanced, expressive, and elegant Bourbon.

Barrel #2864, Inspired by Hayden Valley: A big, bold Whiskey with strong shoulders and a surprisingly soft, pleasant finish, this American Straight Whiskey has been taken from a single cask that has rye in the mash bill, uncustomary for Wyoming Whiskey. The deep mahogany Hayden Valley features a mash bill of 48% winter rye, 40% corn, and 12% malted barley and is bottled at cask strength. It displays bold aromas of dark chocolate covered cherries, wintergreen leaves, and Devil’s food chocolate cake with coconut and walnut icing. The palate offers intense notes of Demerara sugar, Persian black tea, muddled mint leaves, and dill, with a long, semi-sweet finish.

Barrel #2760, Inspired by Grand Teton: Never released as a single barrel expression before, this Rye Bourbon helps makes up Wyoming Whiskey’s Outryder. Taken from a single cask that has a mash bill containing 68% corn, 20% winter rye, and 12% malted barley and bottled at cask strength. It expresses notes of blackberry cobbler with a cinnamon-sprinkled biscuit crust, English sticky toffee pudding, and honeyed hay. The palate finishes with baking spices and orange blossom honey. This is an exceptionally balanced whiskey with great finesse and a spectrum of flavors to suit every palate.

Barrel #5004, Inspired by Yellowstone Lake: Representing the finest of Wyoming Whiskey’s Small Batch Bourbon spiced aroma profile, in addition to being a darker, richer expression of the rare Cask Strength release. Bottled at cask strength, it offers notes of prunes in sweet syrup, black currant, and Persian black tea. The finish is long, with hints of Medjool dates, thick molasses, and savory desert sage blossom honey. It is a complex Bourbon with a wide spectrum of sweet, savory, spicy, smoky, and nutty aromas.

The latter is available for purchase at Reserve Bar, Flaviar, and select NY, GA, CO and WY retailers for $49.99.

Wyoming Whiskey is releasing a 7-year-old expression of its signature Outryder Straight American Whiskey this fall.

Outryder, the only Bottled in Bond whiskey from Wyoming, was first released in October 2016. Bourbon Hall of Famer and former Maker’s Mark master distiller Steve Nally was hired to run all production in Kirby, WY when the company was created. He was instrumental in developing the Small Batch mash bill and selected yeasts that yielded specific taste profiles.

In 2010, Wyoming co-founder David DeFazio asked Nally to develop a rye. Nally resisted, telling DeFazio that he didn’t want to make rye and communicated his distaste for the spirit. The founders encouraged him to reconsider his position and he ultimately relented, albeit defiantly. Two different whiskies were laid down in late 2011, 100 barrels of “rye” and 200 barrels of bourbon made with rye.

A couple of years later, Nally left Wyoming Whiskey to return home and pursue other projects. In 2016, when it was time to bottle the nearly 5 year-old-barrels, Sam Mead, Wyoming Whiskey’s distiller, called DeFazio to explain that the whiskey Nally produced was only 48% rye.

DeFazio called Nally and said, “I want you to know that the ‘rye’ you made is spectacular … but why did you only use 48% rye in the mash bill?” Nally responded, “Because I told you I didn’t want to make rye.”

Wyoming was left with no choice but to develop a straight American whiskey from Nally’s two whiskies. The first whiskey contains 48% winter rye, 40% corn, and 12% malted barley and the second reflects a traditional bourbon mash bill of 68% corn, 20% winter rye, and 12% malted barley. Wyoming Whiskey master blender Nancy Fraley fine-tuned the Outryder expression through barrel selection and its specific blending process.

“Steve Nally remains a great friend of the brand and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome of his defiance,” said DeFazio. “The result is an exceptional Straight American Whiskey that we couldn’t have mastered better if we had planned it. At nearly eight years of age, its character is remarkable.”

Using water sourced from a mile-deep limestone aquifer and all Wyoming-sourced, non-GMO ingredients, Wyoming Whiskey respects the maxims of great bourbon, yet also reflects the feel and taste of the place it was made.

Outryder is bottled at 100 proof. A total of 577 cases of Outryder will be available for purchase throughout the U.S. at the suggested price of $74.99 beginning next month. The remaining stock of Outryder, available in limited annual supply, will be released in 8, 9 and 10 year-old expressions over the next three years until the last batch of barrels are harvested in 2022.
